Hello,

On this board but on another thread someone mentioned that there was a thread about helpful hints tips and shortcuts for your shop. Ex. crockpot for towels, coffee cup warmers for lotions...etc.
I would love to know more of these shortcuts and helpful hints. Please share if you know of any of these neat ideas. Thanks. Can anyone find the thread.

Privacy Curtain Idea Economical Help

My space is small and adorable....but I am at the front entrace of my building off of the lobby. So when the door opens my bed can be seen in the lobby. I need ideas to have privacy around the bed economical ideas and help....thought of screens or room dividers but I am afraid of them tipping over. I would love to float a tab top curtain of sorts from the ceiling......IDK!!! Help please thanks!

I'm in Miami for the show, staying with my grandmother, and after everything some of my clients have said about the Brazilian waxing in Miami (incredibly fast, painless, yadaya), I decided to stop in to what seemed to be the cleanest, most up-and-up wax-only shop since I don't have a waxing trade buddy at home.

I performed a bikini wax on a client that I have seen previously, and today she had a small area on her inner thigh that would not stop bleeding. It was just like a small, less-intense version of a nosebleed (not gushing but not a drop or two). I finally got the bleeding stopped during the treatment, but it started up again right afterwards. Rosacea and Lactic Peels

Anyone had any success with lactic peels on a rosacea client? I use OY and Glymed peels and lactic 30 is recommended for rosacea but I haven't used it yet. My lactic 30 is a ph of 2.3 and lactic 50 is ph 2.2. I mostly stick with enzymes and have good success with it, but I keep seeing lactic associated with rosacea. I like lactic for its moisturizing capabilities and gentle action. Thoughts on what it does for rosacea? I look forward to your wise comments!

Anyone heard of the Super Fractor? It is like the Cryoprobe for a lot less I believe...$2830 approximately. Acne and Hot Yoga

I think I have referenced in earlier posts that I practice and love Hot Yoga. The owner of the studio where I practice is a client of mine, and has talked my services up to several other students with acne woes. She herself has one of the stubbornest cases of Grade 2 acne... very few pustules/papules, but lots of microcomedones under the surface. We're working on it and it's improving, but I have no doubt that the heat is a factor.

OK! I've finally struck a deal to lease that room in a local massage & wellness center...signed the contract today. Next week I'll be painting, ordering products & setting up...hoping to start seeing clients by the middle of November. Thanks to all who responded to my earlier posts regarding leasing a room, etc.
